Thanks For Your Support and Participation!

OneUnited Bank would like to thank all who participated in the 3rd Annual “I Got Bank!” Essay Contest for Youth.

We will read all essays that have been submitted. Winners will be selected by OneUnited Bank in our sole discretion. We will be announcing winners by July 31, 2013. Three (3) winners will receive a $1,000 savings account by August 31, 2013 (with cooperation from parents). No purchase required. Awards are subject to 1099 reporting.

We continue to be inspired by our children and encouraged by everyone’s support for teaching financial literacy to our youth!

Teri Williams

Teri Williams is President and serves on the Board of Directors of OneUnited Bank. She is responsible for implementation of the Bank’s strategic initiatives, as well as the day to day operations of the bank. These operational areas include all retail branches, marketing, compliance, lending, information technology, customer support, legal, and human resources.

    You did not have to be 18 to participate. The essay contest is for children between the ages of 8-12 years old with parental approval. (See the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act below). We welcomed and read all essays we received.Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act OneUnited Bank requires that all users of its online services be 18 years of age or older and OneUnited Bank does not offer online services to anyone under the age of 18. Further, OneUnited Bank does not share personal non-public information regarding any consumer, customer or account holder under the age of 18 years of age except as required by law. OneUnited Bank’s Financial Literacy Essay Contest for Youth requires parental approval.
