ICYMI: Our #BankBlackLive Q&A

You asked, we answered! On January 12, 2017 we held our first ever #BankBlackLive event at our Miami branch.

OneUnited Bank President & COO, Teri Williams, and CEO of BMe Community, Trabian Shorters, sat down on Facebook LIVE to answer questions about the #BankBlack Movement and why supporting Black owned businesses is so important.

We covered questions about how the #BankBlack Movement will help address the Black wealth gap, how you can join the #BankBlack and #BuyBlack movement and everything in between. In fact, we received so many wonderful questions about the #BankBlack Movement, it was impossible to answer them all in one hour – that’s why we’ve decided to dedicate an entire blog series to answer all of the questions that were submitted. You can check out the first blog in this series here.

If watching this got you excited about the #BankBlack Movement, and has you wanting to be involved in our next LIVE event – you’re in luck! We’ll be going LIVE on Facebook this Saturday, 2/4 at 7PM PST from our Money On My Mind event.

Be sure to visit our Facebook page at 7PM PST and watch the panel LIVE.
