SECURITY

It’s important to read the disclosures for these apps carefully. They typically do not offer a protection program for any purchase or sale conducted. If you accidentally send money to the wrong person or use it for a high-risk situation, like buying concert tickets from someone on the internet, Zelle, Cash App or Venmo will not cover you if you get burned. You should think of these apps as giving cash to someone and protect yourself from fraud or a security breech by following the app instructions carefully.
