Thankfully, We Are Moving Forward

Three pumpkins with the words we're moving forward thankful.

This holiday season is an opportunity to appreciate our gifts. Thankfully, we’re moving forward!

Thankful for Community!

There are so many ways we support our community. We’re activist, protestors, volunteers, voters, and mentors. We hold our community up when others count us out! Let’s be thankful for the solidarity we have shown to uplift and serve our community.

(On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10 AM, we’re hosting Joshua’s Heart to provide 600 food baskets to families at our Miami Branch, 3275 NW 79th Street, Miami, FL. Spread the word.)

Thankful for Life!

We now appreciate more than ever the importance of good health and taking precautions to decrease our risk of contracting COVID-19. Consistent with CDC guidelines, we wear masks, practice social distancing, frequently wash our hands (for 20 seconds) and avoid people if we feel sick to take care of each other. There’s also news that vaccines are on the way. Let’s be thankful for the gift of life!

Thankful for Technology!

Technology has kept us together, while we’re apart. Today, we gather with family and friends by phone or zoom/video conference over the holidays, on birthdays and on special occasions. We work from home, use social media and play video games. Technology also allows us to shop from home and bank using a mobile banking app. Let’s be thankful for the gift of technology.

As the largest Black owned bank in the country, we focus on our assets, rather than our challenges. This holiday season let’s be thankful that we’re moving forward together.
