Now you can sign up for Text Message Banking and receives texts with information on your account! As the largest Black owned bank in the country and first and only digital Black owned bank, we are committed to providing you tools to better manage your money!


So rather than call or login to mobile or online banking, you can simply send us a text!


Once you sign up for Text Message Banking, you can text us the following commands (could be in upper or lower case) and we’ll send a text back:

  • BAL – To receive the available balance on your primary account.
  • BAL ALL – To receive the available balance on all your OneUnited Bank accounts.
  • LAST – To receive your last 5 transactions.
  • TRANS – To transfer funds to your primary account from another OneUnited Bank account.

It’s that simple!


You can also set up text alerts for large deposits, large withdrawals, low balances, high balances or checks cleared or simply get a weekly or monthly balance update by text.


Text Message Banking is secure.

Text messages will never include confidential information about you or your accounts and will never include your account numbers.


And we don’t charge a fee for this service!1
