Question: Am I automatically enrolled in BankBlack Early Pay?
Answer: If you receive your pay by direct deposit into a checking account, you may be automatically enrolled in BankBlack Early Pay. You will receive a notification when your Early Pay arrives.

 


Question: I’m a new customer. How quickly will BankBlack Early Pay begin?
Answer: It can take up to 3 pay periods before BankBlack Early Pay begins. You will receive a notification when your Early Pay arrives. (Remember to sign up for direct deposit.)

 


Question: What’s the criteria for BankBlack Early Pay?
Answer: Direct deposits must be made in your name or in the name of an authorized signer on your account. OneUnited Bank pays early by making the money available as soon as your verified employer/payor notifies us of the intended deposit, which can be up to 2 days early. If there is a weekend or bank holiday, Early Pay will post on the next business day after the weekend or bank holiday. BankBlack Early Pay is for consumer checking accounts only.

Question: What about government checks?
Answer: Yes, government direct deposits can be paid up to 2 days early. If there is a weekend or bank holiday, Early Pay will post on the next business day after the weekend or bank holiday.

 


Question: How do I un-enroll in BankBlack Early Pay?
Answer: Simply visit “Direct Deposit” under “More” in our mobile app or “Direct Deposit” under “Additional Services” in online banking. Select “No” for BankBlack Early Pay.

 


Question: I receive my pay through direct deposit but have not received my paycheck early. Why?
Answer: Here are some possible reasons:

  1. It can take up to 3 pay periods before BankBlack Early Pay begins.
  2. Direct deposits must be made in your name or in the name of an authorized signer on your account.
  3. OneUnited Bank pays early by making the money available as soon as your verified employer/payor notifies us of the intended deposit.

 

If you can confirm #1-3 above and you still have not received your pay early, please call us at (877) 663-8648 for service.

 


Question: Can I have BankBlack Early Pay if I have a savings account?
Answer: You must have a direct deposit into a consumer checking account to receive BankBlack Early Pay.

 


Question:I received my pay 2 days early last week, but not this week. Why?
Answer: Your employer/payor may not have notified us of the deposit.

 

Question: Is there a fee for BankBlack Early Pay?
Answer: No there is not a fee.

 


Question: Is BankBlack Early Pay a payday loan?
Answer: No. OneUnited Bank does not offer payday loans. We make your direct deposit available to you as soon as your verified employer/payor notifies us of the intended deposit. It is not a loan and there is no charge for this service.

 


Question: What is a verified employer/payor?
Answer: OneUnited Bank needs to verify direct depositors for the BankBlack Early Pay Program. Most employers and payors can be verified. If we cannot, we may not be able to make funds available up to 2 days early.

 


Question: How do I sign up for direct deposit?
Answer: Simply go to our mobile app and choose “Direct Deposit” under “More” or login to online banking and choose “Direct Deposit” under Additional Services. Follow the instructions and provide the direct deposit form to your HR or Benefits manager.

 


Question: Where can I find my account number?
Answer: Find your account number in just a few clicks.

  1. Login to online banking
  2. Click on the name of your account
  3. Click on the Account Details arrow under the name of your account
  4. See your Type of account, account Number and Routing number on the right side under your Available balance.

 


Question: What is the routing number?
