Question: What is the OneUnited Bank Advocate Program?

Answer: The OneUnited Bank Advocate Program offers points, badges, recognition, gift rewards and cash rewards to all consumer deposit customers to promote financial literacy, responsible banking and the #BankBlack and #BuyBlack Movement. OneUnited Bank is taking the #BankBlack Movement to the next level by …by using our collective economic power to build our community!

 


Question: How can I participate?

Answer: You must be a personal (non-business) customer of OneUnited Bank to be eligible. All personal customers are automatically enrolled in the Advocate Program. Simply join the #BankBlack Movement and/or check the Advocate section in online/mobile banking to see your Advocate Profile.

 


Question: How can I obtain points and badges?

Answer: Your Advocate Profile includes any points and badges you have already earned and opportunities to earn more points and badges. Simply join the #BankBlack Movement and/or check the Advocate section in online/mobile banking to see your Advocate Profile.

 

The Advocate Program awards points and badges based on specific past, present and future banking and nonbanking activity. As an example, you can take a financial literacy module in our Financial Education Center to earn points. You can obtain one of our unapologetically Black OneUnited Bank Visa® Debit cards to earn badges.

 


Question: What is the benefit of points and badges?

Answer: You can become a Bronze, Silver or Gold Member of OneUnited Bank when you achieve a specific number of points and badges. You may already be a Bronze, Silver or Gold Member! Simply join the #BankBlack Movement and/or check the Advocate section in online/mobile banking to see your Advocate Profile.

 

Activities to earn points are also good for you and our community. The Advocate Program provides points and badges to promote financial literacy, responsible banking and the #BankBlack and #BuyBlack Movement.

 


Question: What are Bronze, Silver or Gold Members?

Answer: Bronze Members have achieved a high level, Silver Members have achieved a higher level and Gold Members have achieved the highest level of points and badges. Your Advocate Profile provides the level you have already achieved, if any, and opportunities to reach the next level. Simply join the #BankBlack Movement and/or check the Advocate section in online/mobile banking to see your Advocate Profile.

 


Question: What are the benefits of becoming a Bronze, Silver or Gold Member?

Answer: Each Bronze, Silver and Gold Member is eligible to receive #BankBlack gift rewards from OneUnited Bank based on their Membership level. The gift rewards range from an exclusive #BankBlack baseball cap, to other exclusive gifts. Of course, you also receive recognition for being the biggest, best and strongest supporter of the #BankBlack Movement that you can share on social media!

 


Question: How can I earn money with the Advocate Program?

Answer: You can earn cash rewards with the OneUnited Bank Advocate Program when you share the #BankBlack and #BuyBlack Movement with family and friends and they open an account using your Advocate Referral Code with OneUnited Bank! We’re doubling down on the #BankBlack Movement…one Advocate at a time!

 

Simply open an account and/or share your Advocate Referral Code with family and friends today! You can earn $25 for each referred person who opens an account with OneUnited Bank and meets specific criteria. (Visit here for full details in the Advocate Program Rules. Cash rewards will be deposited into your OneUnited Bank account within 90 calendar days if your account is open and in good standing. The maximum total cash rewards is $12,000.00 per year. This offer expires 6/30/19. Cash rewards are subject to IRS 1099 reporting. There is no minimum balance to participate in the Advocate Program.
