I work for a Family Self Sufficiency program in the Marin City Public Housing complex in Marin. Financial literacy is one of our primary focuses. We work with the adult head of households, but try to provide resources for the parents/guardians to educate their children on financial literacy. I was very interested in your book. I would love to purchase copies depending on the cost. Thanks so much.

I am the Director of Christian Education at St. Paul AME Church. We have recently set up a library at the church that focuses on educating the community in the area of religion and financial security. Our goal is to aquire resources that will benefit the adult population as well as the youth. This book would make a great addition to our collection. We have failed to teach our children the importance of financial literacy, and this book would be an excellent tool that the church could use to help create the foundation to financial freedom for the next generation. Thanks.

OneUnited should be the first Billion Dollar black bank by now! I support that 100%. I watched years ago when you started to grow your bank and became the first black interstate bank with your branches in Florida and Mass. So happy to see you growing again!Good idea to write the book Teri! Why not some youtube videos, facebook and twitter! You could actually make your book an economic rights movement. Maybe 100,000 kids open bank accounts and earning $2000 each mowing lawns, selling koolaid or shovelling snow.....would probably amount to enough to make sense for you and Kevin to move forward with the idea, not to mention how much it would help the community. I'll spread the word about your book. It's definitely a Godsend and you're delivering the book at a very good time!
  6. Darrin says:
